Abstract

The XML standard represents a logical structuring of documents that generally do not reflect the semantics of the content. It would be interesting to complete the logical structure of an XML documents with a semantic structure. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the approach of extraction of semantic structures for XML documents; this evaluation is performed on a sample of documents from the ImageClef2010 collection and using the MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) thesaurus.
